Sr. Systems Engineer

Business Unit: Technical Group
Location: Auckland, New Zealand

The Role

The Senior Systems Engineer will be part of a team that will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and support of the systems and services of the organisation.  A Senior Systems Engineer’s role may span one or more areas of expertise.  Our customers are our internal Accordo staff and ultimately all Accordo’s customers.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

  • Sound Technical ability to support Accordo’s Servers, SAN’s, Backup and Networking infrastructure
  • Expert level of experience for the support of current Microsoft Server and its core components (Virtualisation, AD, Exchange, System Centre, SharePoint, CRM, O365 subscriptions with Hybrid Cloud and On-premises connectivity
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud based IaaS, PaaS or SaaS
  • Expert level understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Virtual Machines, Websites, Storage Blobs, SQL Database, Virtual Network, Traffic Manager, Automation, Active Directory, CDN, Cache)
  • Expert level knowledge of Azure Site Recovery, Backups, Clustering, Load Balancing and SQL Always On, Virtual Networking, Site to Site VPN
  • Experienced working in a 24x7x365 services environment
  • Ability to manage customer escalations and work under pressure
  • Capabilities to operate in a flexible team environment with minimal supervision
  • Windows architecture and its components (Fabric, Compute, Storage)
  • Azure Platform development and deployment concepts
  • Experience with Active Directory, Security, OS Internals concepts

Customer Success Manager

Business Unit: Technical Group

The Role

Accordo’s new cloud based product ‘ipifny’ provides a broad range of services that help small and medium sized business manage their software.

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager(CSM)  who will be responsible for customer acquisition and retention for Accordo’s new product in the SAM and ITAM SaaS vertical.

The CSM will own the sales lifecycle for ipifny’s portfolio of customers, serving as the customer advocate and accelerating consumption of ipifny within every account.

The ideal candidate will be as passionate about SaaS solutions as they are about providing an exceptional experience for every customer

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Meet and exceed growth targets set by management for the assigned market segments
  • Drive a team of Customer Success Consultants to achieve key business objectives and KPIs
  • Provide continuous reporting on goals and KPIs achieved
  • Ensure your Consultants establish a trusted advisor relationship, handling overall responsibility for managing the customer relationship from end to end from pre-sale to post-sale, including keeping the customer informed of all product updates
  • Drive your team of Consultants to work with customers to develop a success plan that outlines how ipifny will be addressing their critical need both immediately and in the future that includes metrics for success
  • Actively update customers of how the ipifny Product roadmap will continue to ease the issues faced for any guided online experience
  • Monitor customer utilisation trends and give recommendations to Product Owners based off such, including doing regular customer ‘health checkups’
  • Help establish relationships with key customer stakeholders to drive further product adoption
  • Leverage your teams and other CSM customer relationships for prospect customers

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct telesales, customer advocacy and engagement experience in pre and post-sales support, or equivalent experience in professional services or account management functions in mid-tier, and/or start-up companies
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Force Automation (SFA), Sales process, and/ or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) preferred
  • Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills that allow you to support your team when guiding customers through complex or challenging processes
  • Experience in a solution sales environment and ability to partner with stakeholders in development and closure of sales opportunities is preferred
  • Highly data-driven with a commitment to process. Excited about driving and tracking a consistent engagement process with all customers in your portfolio
